We shoot a combination of medium-format film and digital. The film rolls give us the slowness, the texture, and the failure modes that modern photography has designed out. The digital bodies cover the low-light end. You get both in your gallery without being told which is which.
We do not direct. We do not interrupt. We do not coordinate "getting-ready" shots with your planner. We arrive at the agreed time, we make ourselves invisible, and we leave when the dance floor opens up. The pictures you see in our work are the pictures we took, not the ones we staged.
Principles

Every wedding is covered by both of us. That means two angles of every major moment, two perspectives on every small one, and redundancy for the things neither of us can rehearse.

A hard cap. We turn down bookings. We would rather lose a booking than under-cover one. If your date is unavailable we will try to recommend a photographer whose work we like.

We do not ask you to do the walk-through-the-field thing. We do not ask you to kiss for the camera. If you want that kind of work, there are photographers we admire who do it brilliantly, and we will happily introduce you.
